, is a Michigan based retail and wholesale silk flowers distributor whose primary concern was creating a modern e-commerce portal targeting Wholesellers (B2B) and single shoppers (B2C). The Wholesale Price and Offers are Login Specific with various user types concealed within the business logic tier. The Grouping and Sign In is Admin generated and various custom logic have been implemented to segregate buyers. It was critical for them to find a creative Web Application Development partner capable of delivering the complete end to end ecommerce solution. The Middle tier encapsulates the custom business logic of the B2B transaction based on User Types defined by Site Administrator with restrictive access.

Checkout is in multi-step and all wholesale orders placed must be approved by Admin before the transaction amount is deducted from Fund Manager and auto-response notification is emailed. The process prevents chargeback and credit card frauds. Logically similar to Walmart, Amazon.

The Solution
Dassnagar Infosystems based the solution around a bespoke e-commerce application designed and developed as per needs. Harnessing existing component libraries and .NET framework significantly reduced the time and cost involved in delivering the robust B2B/B2C ecommerce application though it was done from scratch. The client immediately benefited from all of the features built into the ecommerce software, such as updateable online catalog, inventory management, content management, customer management and order management. The scalable architecture of the ecommerce shopping site application also made it a much simpler proposition when it came to creating a custom component to integrate the website with the order fulfillment system. All orders are captured securely into the system, benefiting from the same automated order processing of online orders.
In addition, Dassnagar Infosystems created a custom shipping module to enable end user to send the same product to multiple shipping address all within a single transaction. Shipping cost, Discounts, Rebate, Freebies are automatically implemented depending on product type, shipping destination, order value.
Finally, the Ecommerce application design allowed the client to select a suite of functionality which fulfilled their unique business needs. They opted for the e-Coupons, Gift Certificates, Cross Sell and Advanced-Shipping add on module. The Advanced-Shipping module accommodates real-time shipping integration and international shipping through the website, giving precise costs and shipment tracking. The Cross Sell module encourages customers to purchase products related to items on the site which are of interest to them. The eCoupons module can be used to reward loyal customers or bring them back to the site, or encourage people to provide feedback by filling up the survey form.
